Adrian Daniel Botnariu

Berlin-based filmmaker and AI innovator with an engineering background and over ten years of experience in the film industry and proven expertise in the use of emerging technologies. Following his first award-winning short films, he spent nearly two years at the Vodafone Innovation Lab, initiating partnerships with Philips and developing original concepts for the German film industry. Since 2023, he has focused intensively on generative AI, collaborating with Runway, Kling, Luma, and Google Veo. In 2025, he co-organized the first Berlinale event dedicated to AI. Through Beyondflix Productions, he realizes hybrid AI projects that bridge the gap between traditional film and disruptive societal transformation.
